What types of plants does Sow Exotic specialize in?

We specialize in rare and exotic plants including citrus trees, tropical fruit & spice trees, medicinal & culinary herbs, and unique fruiting plants. Our collection focuses on hard-to-find specimens that thrive in various growing conditions.

How do you ensure plant quality during shipping?

Every plant undergoes our Triple-Check Care process: health inspection by specialists, custom secure packaging tailored to each plant type, and climate-appropriate shipment timing. We use proprietary root-protection systems for optimal transit survival.

What should I do when my plant arrives?

Your shipment will include detailed care instructions. We recommend being present to receive tropical varieties. Allow plants to acclimate gradually to their new environment, following our included recommendations. Contact us immediately if there are any transit issues.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship and what are the delivery times?

We ship worldwide (except some Asian and remote regions). Standard shipping via DHL/FedEx takes 10-15 days after dispatch ($12.95). Free EMS shipping (orders $50+) takes 15-25 days. All orders process within 1-2 business days before shipping.

Can I track my plant shipment?

Yes! Standard shipping includes full tracking. For EMS shipments, tracking numbers are provided when available. We monitor all shipments and will notify you of any unexpected delays affecting plant health.

What if I’m not home when my plants arrive?

Specify a shaded receiving area in your order notes. Tropical varieties especially shouldn’t sit in direct sunlight. Consider having a neighbor accept the package or choose delivery to your workplace if possible.

Payments & Orders

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal for secure global transactions. All payments are processed through our encrypted checkout system for your protection.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placement?

Contact us immediately at [email protected] if you need to modify an order. We process orders quickly, so cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of placement to be guaranteed.

Returns & Guarantees

What is your return policy?

We offer a 15-day satisfaction guarantee from receipt date. If your plant arrives damaged or doesn’t meet expectations, contact us with photos for replacement or refund instructions. Live plants cannot be returned without prior authorization.

My plant isn’t thriving after arrival – what should I do?

Many plants experience temporary transplant shock. Follow our acclimatization guide and contact our plant specialists for tailored advice. If your plant doesn’t recover within the guarantee period, we’ll work with you on a solution.
