Sow Exotic Medicinal & Culinary Herbs Chocolate Chip Bugleweed (Ajuga)

Ajuga is a beautiful low-growing perennial herb and ground cover boasting glossy scalloped leaves and vibrant blue and purple spring flowers.  It’s as ornamental as it is useful and is an excellent permaculture plant in shady areas, attracting pollinators like bees, butterflies, and even hummingbirds. 

This plant is edible and contains lithospermic acids, which can help lower levels of thyroid stimulating hormones. There are many varieties of Ajugas, primarily native to North America. Sow Exotic carries the Chocolate Chip variety.
